WHO WE ARE
Hale Group LLC (“Hale Group,” “we,” “us”) is an Alabama limited liability company on the Gulf Coast. We build software systems, and through our Hale Accord division we provide independent claims adjusting and dispute resolution for property and flood losses.
This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do and do not do with it.
WHAT WE COLLECT
- Contact details — name, mailing address, email address and telephone numbers, including mobile numbers.
- Claim information — where we are handling a claim: policy and claim numbers, the property involved, the loss, photographs, documents and correspondence.
- Communications — calls, text messages, emails and the notes we make about them.
- Site usage — this website is static and sets no tracking or advertising cookies.
Most of what we hold comes from the carrier or firm that assigned the claim, or from the policyholder directly.
HOW WE USE IT
To do the work: to reach the people whose claims we handle, schedule and carry out inspections, prepare reports and estimates, and correspond with policyholders, carriers and firms. We also use it to meet our legal, licensing and record-keeping obligations.
We do not use personal information for advertising, and we do not build marketing profiles.
TEXT MESSAGING
Where we hold a mobile number for someone whose claim we are handling, we may send text messages about that claim — scheduling an inspection, confirming an appointment, or following up. Messages are about the recipient’s own claim. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
We do not sell or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for their own marketing.
- Message frequency varies with the claim.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages from us. Reply HELP for help.
- Opting out of text messages does not affect your claim; we will reach you by phone, email or post instead.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
Only where the work requires it:
- The insurance carrier, adjusting firm or client who assigned the claim.
- Service providers who process information on our behalf — telephone and messaging providers, email and document hosting, mapping and scheduling — bound to use it only for that purpose.
- Where the law, a regulator or a court requires it.
We do not sell personal information.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Claim records are kept for as long as the carrier’s contract, state licensing rules and our own legal obligations require, and then disposed of securely.
SECURITY
Claim records are held on systems we control, with access limited to the people who need it for the work. No system is perfect, but we treat claim files as confidential and handle them accordingly.
YOUR CHOICES
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop contacting you by a particular method. Write to the address below and we will respond.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date above.
